After graduationAfter completing the Classical Music bachelor degree in Zwolle, you will not only have a great artistic foundation, but you will also know exactly what role you want to play in society using your qualities. Professional field
After the Classical Music course, you will have mastered your subject and be able to convey your love of music. The field of work is therefore broad. Musicians who have graduated from this Classical Music course are employed as:
- Freelance musician in music theatre, opera or orchestra productions or in a band, such as Jasper Arts and Mechteld Drop.
- Musician with their own ensemble, such as Noam Staal (Libero Strijkorkest), Ferdinand Binnendijk and Suzanne Zijderveld (Duo Corelli), Yaroslav Kolpakov (Duo Da Vai).
- Lecturer at a music school or in their own teaching practice, such as Philine Coops, Eva van den Dool, Esther de Boer of Collectief Dubbelgreep.

Title and diploma
On graduating from the Classical Music course, you may use the title Bachelor of Music (BMus).
This study can be found in the Central Register of Courses in Higher Education (CROHO) under code 34739. The formal name of the course, under which this study is known in CROHO, is Bachelor of Music. This CROHO name will appear on your diploma.
Further studies?
A bachelor degree in Classical Music is an excellent preparation for the two-year master course in Classical Music. Of course, you can also take a master course at other (international) educational institutions.
