Tom Salisbury
Tom is an American award-winning producer, arranger/conductor, Musical Director and keyboardist with wide international experience. He has a diploma cum laude in classical piano from San Pietro Conservatory in Naples, Italy, but chose a career in popular music because it offered more opportunities for his talents beyond the piano. Stylistically, his work has ranged from classical to jazz, from rock 'n roll to R&B. He has written arrangements for the world-renowned film composer John Williams, and has toured and recorded with artists as diverse as Van Morrison, Boz Scaggs, Heart ('Alone'), and the Pointer Sisters (5 albums). Included among the many musicians he has performed and/or recorded with over a 40-year career are Herbie Hancock, Michael Macdonald, Natalie Cole, Jeff Porcaro, Ricky Lawson, David Foster, Bonnie Raitt, and Stevie Wonder. Tom performed piano and wrote symphonic arrangements for the Dutch gothic-rock group Whitin Temptation's 2007 CD The Heart of Everything.
